Raised on promises
She couldn’t help thinkin that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to

She was an american girl
After twenty-two years of existence in the great big country known as the United States of America, our heroine ventured out into the world to spend the best year of her life living in London and Barcelona. Twelve months later she was ripped from the loving clutches of Europe and thrown back into the corporate and obese ways of her motherland. She vowed on that day to return as soon as possible to her beloved London, where the music is alive and the people are groovy. Life in America was no longer enjoyable for our Bijou Baby, it seemed that no one understood her anymore and her longing to be in England. After deep thought on the matter she gave herself a personal deadline of one year to store up the monetary funds needed to move back. These are the tales of her one year hiatus in the Land of the Free.
